My mom has a deer antller that has a crack and a small chunk missing at the bottom. She refuses to chunk it, since otherwise it is in great condition and it was from my dads first hunt. Does anyone know how to refill the crack and small hole? I was thinking wood putty or something and a little sanding. I might be able to match a paint color or something, so you can not see the patch up job. Is it even possible to fix this deer antler?
Wow. I have no idea about deer antlers. I'm afraid wood putty would not match it exactly, though. I think you may have to take it to a professional restoration place, but that could run some money.
