Has anyone just needed to add one or two new outlets to a room before? Is it possible to run them from another that is already there if you know what you are doing? We added on to a room and one wall has no outlets at all.

code says that any linear measurement along unbroken wall surface may not exceed 6 feet in any direction without an outlet being present. also any receptacle in any new room must be protected by an AFCI breaker. This means an Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter circuit breaker.
