handystan Status: Apprentice Level Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: New Mexico Posts: 35	Furniture Staining Tips Hello, I have a nice modern maple coffee table. The current stain is slightly orange. I want to refinish it in a darker mahogany stain. The only problem is, when I stain things it comes out dull and very amateur. Does anyone have a set of steps that will achieve a quality store like finish? Thanks Stan
