Default Alternative to a Peg Board

Has anyone used something that is better for organizing tools on the wall, then peg board. I hate how the hooks always fall out when you remove a tool.

Thanks
Stan

I know what you mean, they seem pretty tacky. I think that the main benefit of the peg board is that its cheap and easy.

I guess you can make something better for yourself, but it would cost you and take up some time. When I was doing some Christmas shopping I saw some pretty cool standing toolboxes that looked good and could store just about everything except for the bigger tools. You might want to go that route.

My husband just has a piece of plywood on the wall and keeps everything on it with nails. He's made an outline of each item where it goes, so it goes back where it came from when he's done. Well . . . that's the way it's SUPPOSED to work. The tools don't always get put back when he's done. But, at least he knows where they go.
