Default Wallpaper or Not?

I'm renovating my room next month. I have never used wallpaper before. I saw some cool wallpaper patterns the other day. I'm thinking of buying for my room. Is it expensive? I have a fairly small room. It's just 3 square meters.

I have 2 small dogs. Do you think they'll just tear the wallpaper apart?

I think wall paper is great way of changing the tone and appearance of your room, without getting into too much expense. I am sure you have already done some work but this may assist someone else. Wallpaper is not expensive and does not take a professional to do it.

Personally I think paint is easy and not that expensive. I really don't like wallpaper.

Before starting to wallpaper, make sure that:
The ceiling has been finished.
Any coving, picture or dado rails has been fitted and finished.
Check to find out if the paint is both non-water soluble and soundly bonded to the wall surface. In olden days, whitewash or distemper was often used as the decorative finish and these are unsuitable for wallpapering onto, pay special attention to areas around the tops of the walls; these areas may have been above a picture rail and this areas was often distempered.

yeah kristi, I agree with your suggestion. Before starting to wallpaper it is very important to make sure the ceiling has been finished or any coving, picture or dado rails has been fitted and finished.

good luck!
