Default Making Commode Taller

Hi,
I'd like to somehow make the commode higher.
It seems to me that I've seen a concrete raise
under one before, but I'm not sure how that is
installed or if they sell those little blocks just for
this purpose or if it was home made.
We need a taller commode.

What do you recommend?

You must have really tall people in your home to want taller toilets. I couldn't see it otherwise being that way because anyone that is really short or average height would have their legs dangling on the floor. Do you all have small kids? Or do they have their own bathroms? I would find that so funny to see a child trying to climb on a toilet that is too high and then the poor things trying to sit on it. That would definitely be something a parent would have to keep close attention on for their safety.

My hubby wanted a taller one as well, we found them at Lowe's .. however it's in HIS bathroom and I don't use that one, Just like roro said .. my legs dangled BUT RoRo ... my feet wouldn't even touch the floor!!! lol

Joking aside, my mom who lived with us and used a walker found it much easier to use the taller tolit and easier to get up and down.

Short Stuff

Putting in a made to measure cement base to give the extra height wouldn't be too much of a problem but what we used to do for elderly folk was purchase a plastic extension unit which fits on top of the toilet and gives it extra height. Much easier option and can be taken away when not required unlike a cement base!
