Default Bathroom Tile

As some of you know I am remodeling my bathroom. I am ready for the finishing touches which is tile and painting. Which is better for look and resale value. A fully tiled bathroom or just a tiled tub/shower area? I am being told that I should tile the whole bathroom, but I don't agree.

If I am house hunting, I would prefer a bathroom that has tiled floor and tiled tub/shower area. I don't think it is necessary to tile the entire bathroom.
