Default Setting a tub

Within the next month I plan on replacing a tub in one of my bathrooms. I have done this before but I have never poured concrete to set the tub in place. I just saw a remodeling show that did this and wanted to know if this is the way I should do it from now on. Anybody done this before?

It seem like the logical thing to do, bearing in mind that I haven't done it myself. I hope you make sure that your overflow kit is properly in place before you seal off everything.
