Default "Treated" lumber

My husband added a porch onto our mobile home and used "treated" lumber. However, some of the lumber is rotting, especially on the handrailings for the stairs. Should you "re-treat" treated lumber, to keep it from deteriorating? If so, what would you use?

Yes you definatley need to keep retreating your lumber as due to weathering the wood will become prone to rotting. Your local hardwarde store should be able to advise you on a good brand suitable for your needs.

You can try TimberSIL, its non toxic so you shouldn't have any health issues with it. I hope this helps.
